I have a fear

Every time you go away, I fear that you will never return
Every time you don’t speak, I fear that you will never be the same
Every time you are angry, I fear that this is the end.

Every time I am out, I fear that I will be lost
Every time I am hurt, I fear that I will not recover
Every time I am sad, I fear that this is the end.

Every time I see darkness, I fear the unexpected
Every time I am lonely, I fear rejection
Every time I am optimistic, I wish that this is not the end.
